Senior Project Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity to start with a clean sheet.

This position is pivotal to the “rebooting” of the creative department. The candidate should view this as a start-up role, and so will be responsible for the creation and management of all project protocols across the entire agency.

Responsible for efficient management and delivery of client projects on time and to budget through the identification and implementation of the most appropriate project management methodology and style.

You will be the key point of contact between the agency account handling and the digital and creative teams and will ensure that the highest quality of work is produced.

You will produce the required documentation and reports in order to clearly communicate the status of every project and to highlight & resolve any potential issues before they arise.

The Senior Project Manager will also proactively develop Health Unlimited’s project management processes and way of managing digital work and resourcing.

Specific Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • To be involved with the planning of all creative/digital solutions to meet account handling and client briefs
  • Chairing of planning and production meetings when & where necessary
  • Production of project timelines and milestones and proactively managing the project lifecycle
  • Creation of the following documents in order to assist the agency
    • Statements of Work
    • Proposals
    • Specifications
    • Time & cost quotations
    • Project status updates
    • Risk logs
    • Issue logs
  • Identification and implementation of efficiencies
  • Ensure relevant internal & client status reports are prepared and sent
  • Ensure job folders are kept up to date/organised
  • Gain knowledge of client products and markets

Trafficking & Scheduling of Work

  • Production of daily & weekly work schedules for the team to hit pre-defined timelines
  • Communicate schedules of work to relevant parties to ensure that deadlines are adhered to
  • Prioritise the work flow of the digital programmers & designers
  • Managing delivery towards quotes, estimates and resource planning

Digital Production

  • To be heavily involved in digital brainstorm / kick off meetings ensuring that the projects deliver against objectives
  • Quality control of all production jobs
  • Liaise with internal personnel on the production process to ensure all parties are working to a common goal
  • Understanding the role of other external agencies (web hosts, multimedia, etc)

Financial Management

  • Liaise with account handlers and the digital team to ensure that accurate estimates are provided to clients
  • Monitor hours spent by the digital team throughout job lifecycle to ensure it is within budget
  • Ensure Purchase Orders are received for projects ahead of project start (invoicing) at the end of each month

New Business

  • To be alert to opportunities for organic growth of accounts
  • Take an active role in the preparation and presentation of proposals, new business pitches and client presentations
  • Promoting team’s capabilities around the Unlimited Health group and beyond

Communication

  • To be the main point of contact for internal account handling and creative/digital teams and act with enthusiasm and a helpful, ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Ensure clear and efficient communications between creative/digital and the wider company
  • Respond to all communications in a timely manner
  • Liaise with clients, where appropriate, for clarity, to assist in pitches and to troubleshoot digital issues
  • Participate in discussions with clients and team members about digital best practices and help teams identify optimal digital solutions

Development Manager, Digital Design & Production

As a Development Manager (Associate Director), you are Health Unlimited’s technical expert owning all digital development deliveries and ensuring we optimize our use of technology. You will also work with our clients and help guiding and supporting them and their use of technology.

You should be able to lead and still be able to get hands-on to overcome any challenge you might face. The role will include hands on coding (60% coding).

You will be working with a broad range of clients and projects. Solid skills and experience in project management fundamentals are a must (budgeting, planning, developing statements of work, functional specifications, quality assurance specifications etc.). You will proactively work with improving our working processes and project management in the agency.

You will have solid experience of the creative process, UX, design and technology delivery – as well as the people skills to foster a team culture.
