Graphic Designer

Health Unlimited

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creative concepting and graphic design of a broad range of marketing and communications materials for Health Unlimited clients and new business activities. The Graphic Designer is a collaborator and will be expected to be an active contributor to the continued evolution and achievement of our ambition to become a leading creatively-driven global agency. This is a NY-based position that reports directly to the Chief Strategy Officer and will also be connected to a broader creative community in the UK.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a partner across various teams to provide creative and design expertise, bringing visual solutions to key business challenges, translate proposed communication copy into effective designs by applying an understanding of business objectives
  • Development of integrated visual components of integrated communications campaigns including email, social, landing pages, online advertising, etc.
  • Development of infographics
  • Development of graphics to be used in presentations
  • Creation of promotional materials (Fact Sheets, brochures, etc.)
  • Website design; including UX
  • PowerPoint presentation design

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine art, or visual communications
  • 3+ years of work experience as a designer in an agency environment
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe CC suite, MS Office applications, – with special emphasis on Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Bootstrap and Azure for web design templates and UX rapid prototyping
  • General knowledge of print design and production techniques
  • Ability to source stock images and maintain stock image library for team
  • Confers with internal clients to determine design requirements and creative direction
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team, as well as independently
  • Identifies and completes tasks with minimum supervision; is a motivated self-starter
  • Highly organized and detail oriented

Strategy Director-Brand Promotion

The Strategy Director will lead brand, messaging, segmentation, activation and personalisation strategy for our clients.

He or she will be responsible for turning insights into actionable strategies and creative recommendations, across online and offline channels, with a particular focus on digital. The single most important aspect of the Director‘s job will be her/his ability to articulate these insights into written compelling and persuasive presentations.

Another important aspect of this role will be helping teams across the entire strategic continuum – the more traditional brand strategy elements (positioning statement, KM development, SMP and creative brief writing) but also activation strategy (including channel and touchpoint proposals, metrics and bench-marking, the use of data to drive decision making) and personalisation strategies (technical platform knowledge, micro-segmentation and content development) – ultimately helping teams understand how the strategic orchestration of channels and connections can enhance what they’re producing.

Skills/qualifications:

  • You are able to develop strategies for multiple channels, with a practical understanding of the technologies, tactics and data leveraged to achieve these strategies. You’re a critical thinker, and able to distil a lot of information into cohesive strategies and recommendations.
  • You have experience with customer experience planning, customer journey mapping and segmentation.
  • You do your best work in a collaborative setting. You can work in lock-step across agencies, internal teams and partners, encouraging team efforts and balancing multiple needs and expectations.
  • Solid grounding in research and behavioural analysis including both primary/secondary and qualitative/quantitative research methodologies.
  • Must be a polished, persuasive, and strategic communicator – both written and verbal/presentation.
  • You have a minimum of 10 years’ work experience in digital agencies, digital strategic consulting or marketing, communications or brand strategy.
  • You have a solid history of growth in a company with a variety of clients.

Junior Associate, PR

Health Unlimited

The Junior Associate is responsible for implementing day-to-day activities for a high-profile, fast-paced pharmaceutical account that encompasses a broad spectrum of PR activities, including third-party collaborations, un-branded awareness initiatives and branded product support.  Previous experience in health care is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as core team member for program implementation, self-direct own responsibilities, seek guidance from senior managers and keep everyone informed, play active role in team dynamics.
  • Manage small scale projects from start to finish, including basic research assignments and various program activities.
  • Develop initial drafts of a range of audience-appropriate written materials.
  • Maintain team reporting mechanisms including results reporting, budget tracking, etc.

Ideal Candidate

  • 6 months to 1 year of internship, public relations agency or combination of agency plus in-house pharmaceutical/corporate or non-profit health care communications experience.
  • Highly organized, good oral and written communications skills.
  • Familiarity with basic PR writing forms, social media and media monitoring tools.
  • An ability to design and conduct research projects.
  • Knowledge of key areas of media, ability to structure pitches.
  • Has experience in implementing event/organizational checklists, including working with vendors, and ability to develop project timelines.
  • Must be a fast learner and motivated for success and growth of self, team and accounts.
